Protagonist Shun was working for an exploitative company, but one late night under a wintry sky, he boards a bus with a kitten he happened to pick up. However, that bus turns out to be a ride to heaven. Due to him leaving the reincarnation cycle of his original universe, Shun ends up heading to another world with the picked-up kitten who turned into a catgirl and his keychain that turned into his minion slime monster. Later, a wizard girl joins their party who had been kicked out of another traveling group for certain reasons, and they set out on a relaxed journey with their goal of reaching the royal capital within a year.
