ABOUT US
About the Digicata Editorial Department
Three Key Features of the Digicata Editorial Department
As part of our digital content business, we have established partnerships with a wide range of creators. Our strength lies in the production and development of manga content. By combining our proprietary production expertise with an extensive professional network, we are able to deliver high-quality works efficiently and promptly.
We also maintain a distribution network that enables us to provide content to nearly all major e-book platforms currently in operation, allowing creators’ works to reach a broad audience.
Partnerships with Creators
Demand for manga content has grown rapidly in recent years, while digital distribution technologies and formats have become increasingly diverse. At the same time, creators are now expected to meet increasingly sophisticated production requirements.
In the digital publishing industry, demand for full-color works continues to rise, making it increasingly difficult for a single creator to manage every stage of production, from planning and development through to final completion.
To address this challenge, we have established a collaborative production system in which each stage of the creative process is handled by specialists. This enables us to maintain both high quality and efficient production while also providing many creators with opportunities to make their professional debut.
Partner Creators
In addition to producing works under our own brands, we commission creators to produce manga on behalf of e-book retailers and publishers.
We work closely with each creator as a business partner and provide ongoing management and production support throughout the project.
Launch of Our YouTube Channels
To promote our works through new and engaging approaches, we have launched dedicated YouTube channels.
We currently publish videos on the Digicata Editorial Department Channel, which features works from a wide range of genres, as well as videos featuring titles from our Teens’ Love label, SmoooCH!
